Design Specialties was born of necessity in 2000. During the early years it operated as a part-time home improvement company; specializing in high-end custom woodwork and cabinetry for new construction and renovation projects. In 2005 our expansion introduced professional installation services, resulting in a full-time company.

Believing that everone should have access to quality cabinetry and millwork at affordable prices and still keep America strong lead to this expansion. We pride ourselves with "made in the USA" products. Manufacturing products and hiring employees right here in East Texas keeps our communities strong too.

Over the last decade Design Specialties contributes its growth to our commitment to EXCELLENCE, in products; employee safety and training; customer and vendor relationships; as well as integrial business practices. You won't find MDF; particle board; or any other inferior materials used in our products.
